High Astromancer Solarian Strategy — Tempest Keep: The Eye

Phase 2 · Tempest Keep: The Eye · 2 tanks, 5 healers, rest dps

A three-phase add and burst fight. Solarian splits into adds, blinks the raid around with Wrath of the Astromancer (a bomb debuff), and transforms into a Void Walker for a hard-hitting final phase.

Fight phases

  1. 1

    Caster phase

Tank Solarian; she casts Arcane Missiles and Wrath of the Astromancer — the bombed player runs out so the explosion doesn't hit the raid.

  2. 2

    Split phase

Solarian vanishes and spawns Solarium Agents/Priests with her among them — AoE them down and find the real boss.

  3. 3

    Void phase (<20%)

She becomes a large Void Walker with heavy melee. Tank and burn.

By role

Tanks

Hold Solarian in the caster phase; in the void phase her melee spikes hard — cooldown the tank. Pick up adds in the split.

Healers

Wrath of the Astromancer bomb must be spot-healed and the player must run out. The void phase is a burst check on the tank.

DPS

Run out with the bomb debuff. AoE the split adds and swap to the real Solarian when she reappears. Save burst for the void phase.

Common mistakes

  • Not running out with Wrath of the Astromancer and bombing the raid.
  • Getting lost in the split phase and letting adds pile up.
